The Podsmead Partnership brings together and connects residents with health, education, housing, local council and other organisations and stakeholders under a collective umbrella to work together in the Podsmead area.
The Partnership provides a delivery infrastructure to bring investment, resources, and expertise to create local growth and opportunity whilst addressing some of the community challenges by:
- Building capacity to deliver our joint aims and objectives for the community over the next five to ten years.
- Sharing data and insight to build on our knowledge of the community and create better outcomes as a result.
- Improving inequalities by understanding the needs of people and removing barriers to develop solutions.
- Finding better ways of doing things by sharing expertise and resources.
- Strengthening lobbying and negotiating power by working collectively.
- Spreading the risk of service delivery and prioritising resources where they have the greatest impact.
