Poets Pantry is a food club in Podsmead, which collects food from supermarkets and other organisations in Gloucester which is then made available for people in the community.

The pantry opens three times a week, with two sessions offering free food, and a third session which offers residents the opportunity to buy a pre-filled bag with a selection of fresh and packaged food for £3 to suit their needs.

The Poets Pantry volunteers are also on hand to help anyone who is struggling to pay for their bag with emergency food support. Poets Pantry is managed by Blackbridge CCBS.

Poets Pantry opening days and times

Donations to Poets Pantry

Poets Pantry relies largely on food donations from local supermarkets, but we are also hugely grateful for donations from other retailers, producers or through community collections at schools and businesses. If you would like to talk to us about making a donation, or having a collection point at your school, business or organisation, please email us at info@blackbridge.org.uk
