We want everyone to feel safe at our youth clubs and activities, so we have set out behaviour expectations that all young people attending our clubs and activities must sign and agree to before they join.
Our behaviour expectations
- Respect each other: Treat everyone how you want to be treated.
- Respect the staff: Be polite, listen, and follow instructions from youth workers and Hub staff.
- Use the correct entrance/exit: Always use the designated doors only.
- Toilet use: Use the designated youth toilets respectfully and responsibly.
- Active listening: Pay attention and listen carefully when others are speaking.
- No energy drinks: Please leave energy drinks at home – they are not allowed
- Healthy mind: Drugs, alcohol, and being under the influence are strictly forbidden.
- No re-entry: Once you leave the building, you cannot re-enter the session unless previously agreed with staff.
- Zero tolerance for bullying: We do not accept any form of bullying or harassment.
- Be considerate: No shouting, running, or playing outside the Hub or in the car park. Please respect our neighbours, the shared business, and other users of the building.
- No violence: Any violent behaviour will result in immediate removal and a ban from future sessions.
- Respect the space: Look after the Hub and equipment — leave it how you would like to find it.
- Share your ideas: This is your space! We want to hear your thoughts and ideas to help shape your sessions.
Consequences for not meeting behaviour expectations
- If you cannot follow these expectations, you will be asked to leave the session.
- Your parent/carer will be informed.
- You may also receive a suspension or permanent ban from future sessions/events, depending on the seriousness of the situation.
- We are here to provide a safe, fun, and welcoming space where you can socialise, take part in activities, and have a voice. We love what we do, and we want these sessions to continue for everyone’s benefit.
