A newly forming group of young people from Podsmead have been coming together since the start of the summer holidays to help shape the new Blackbridge Community and Sports Hub.

After a couple of initial get togethers, last week the group – called Synergy – met with architects and designers from the FWP Group where they got to look at floor layouts and options for interior designs including colours and fabrics.

Synergy meets every week and is always looking for new young people from Podsmead to get involved. Their next meeting will include an accompanied visit to the building site to see the hub coming to life, and the group will also have the opportunity to create exciting installations for the hub with the help of local artists.
